My daughter (whom lives out of state) was in contact with this dealership performing her due diligence and researching much to do with the vehicle as well as this dealership over several days and ultimately agreeing upon a purchase price on a vehicle and even texting them a screenshot of her flight confirmation number showing that she was committed on purchasing this vehicle. This proof of commitment was asked by the dealership so they knew our daughter was in fact coming to purchase said vehicle. She offered a down payment to hold said vehicle, but CTS declined this as "it is not company policy". She had set up an appointment to have the car inspected in order to ease her mind and know what potential issues she'd have to budget money for possible upcoming repairs with a local auto shop familiar with said vehicle and this was allowed and agreed upon by CTS. Instead of CTS calling our daughter to say someone else is interested in or might possibly purchase this vehicle, she finds out today from the auto shop that was supposed to inspect the vehicle that it is not there, but in fact sold. No calls or texts from CTS to our daughter. This dealership is the definition of "Slimy" used car salesmen. Please do not trust anything they claim or tell you they will do because it will not be honored. They were less than honorable in their dealings with our daughter. I'm sure she dodged a bullet with this transaction and should be grateful to only be out the price of a plane ticket.
All customers are given a fair opportunity to purchase a vehicle. By policy we do not hold cars as we are in fact that a smaller dealership. There was no proof of confirmation of purchase or potential purchase. Therefore we do not hold vehicles. Your view is unwarranted, not deserved and unappreciated. It will be reported as such. All the best in your search.
