Brought my Jeep Grand Cherokee to Colorado Tire and Service so they could look at my brakes. They are making an annoying squeaky sound. I wanted to get an estimate. They had my car for about an hour and told me I needed all four rotors replaced. I wasn't expecting that because the last place I took it to said nothing about needing to replace rotors let alone all four of them. I worked with Dan. He assured me everyone was certified and the estimate was the best course of action for my Jeep. I decided not to get the repairs done but I did like Dan. He explained everything clearly and wished me back. I'm going to do a little more research. If it turns out that I do indeed to replace all four rotors I will return here to get it done.

In the morning I called in to schedule an oil change and Darnell put me down for noon, saying it would only be an hour or so. Lo and behold they finished within an hour! Darnell was really helpful - he only talked facts and was very transparent on what was being done. I also found it nice that he showed me the pricing before I had the job done, and the price even included tax. It's nice seeing that and not getting a different bill when you're getting ready to go. I was expecting a classic "we inspected the car and you need (insert expensive operation)". I was pleased to not have gotten that. He said the battery failed a load test but it wasn't a big deal and that I should replace it soon. He didn't even force a quote on me or tell me scary stories about why a weak battery could be fatal. Also while I was waiting Darnell educated me on new tires and alignments as I need one for our other car. He even gave me sample low/medium/high quotes for reference.

Professional and friendly, but price gouging. I've brought two cars with flat tires in and each time they insist that I needed a whole new set of tires. Also, their parts that they quoted me are at least double what I can get them for at Napa or Advance, let alone online. They billed me $600 plus labor for a part that I could have done myself easily and bought for 300-400. They quoted me 110 for a 60 dollar battery, 400 for a 190 dollar transmission rack, and 200ish for 80 dollar axles. That's only for the parts. None of it includes the labor on top. I also question the necessity of some of those but my other mechanic will tell me soon. To give them credit, they suggested that I do minimal repairs and sell my truck to somebody without mentioning the needed work. However, I felt that would be unethical. Too bad they don't share the same sense of ethics of not taking advantage of others.

I'm glad to hear we were professional and friendly. As for pricing we are very competitive within the industry and charge what is appropriate to give a parts and labor warranty, you're not getting that if you buy online. I invite you to get in touch with me to discuss further if you would like to, I am always open to constructive ideas on how we can be better. Jason-Owner

I am extremely appreciative of the services Colorado Tire and Services provided to me. I shipped a 1996 Explorer from Vegas to Thornton only to find out the vehicle sustained damages during shipping. Fluids had leaked all over the engine during transport. My car had no prior problems. The car was brought to Colorado Tire and Service... Darnell was awesome in communicating with me (1,200 miles away) what the potential damages were along with possible repairs. Easily this facility could have ripped me off and charged for crazy unnecessary repairs... But they didn't! And I am grateful. My car has 135,000 miles on it, so I easily could have been told that numerous things were wrong and needed to be fixed. I am Grateful for the honesty, the integrity and ease of communications in assisting to get my vehicle safely back on the road. The repairs were minor, fortunately. And I wasn't charged outlandish fees for the repairs! Kudos to Darnell and to Lance for being upfront, honest and trustworthy. I would HIGHLY recommend Colorado Tire and Service on 120th Street to anyone seeking a reputable repair facility. Janet M., Las Vegas NV

I spoke with Jason and he was super awesome. I approached Colorado Tire & Service to get my starter motor and battery replaced/repaired. the day started bad and he made it good by offering me better deal compared with other auto shops. Its been two years and this was the first mechanical trouble i faced with my car, I loved it so core that I don't wanna leave. I decided to see this guy often and he got the credibility to make his customers happy. The $70 for $95 deal makes me super excited. He gave me a quote for the aged struts to get repaired for pretty good price. no other in town gave me such a low quote. End of the day! I liked the service i got and i am happy. Thanks to Jason for the information he gave me before his service. Highly recommend this shop.

I have been to Colorado Tire & Service - Thornton twice now in the past 6 months, and I travel all the way from Downtown Denver to get my vehicle serviced here. That says a lot about why I drive out of my way to come here. Darnell and staff have been amazing both times I have gone, from customer service and timeliness, to actually being honest about what services I need and don't need for my vehicle, thereby saving me money, where other auto service centers would have likely lied about and "recommended" services just to make an extra buck. Of all the auto service centers I have been to in my lifetime, Colorado Tire and Service is the one I have felt most comfortable taking my vehicle to for oil changes, maintenance, and soon, new tires. If you are hesitant or nervous about which auto center to service your vehicle at and you tend to base your decision off of reviews, trust me, give Colorado Tire and Service your business, and keep them in business, because I won't go anywhere else.

I recently visited Colorado Tire & Service in Centennial, CO and the best customer service from Paul Ulibarri. I had been having trouble with my car and was taking it to another shop, where they did absolutly nothing for me. I then took my car over to Paul who found exactly what the issue was and had it fxed in no time. My car is now running like a champ. Thank you Paul for your graet customer service and I will be referring others your way.

Thanks

Ran over a screw, woke up to a flat at the beginning of a busy week. Showed up with no appointment early Monday, dropped off tire, came back at lunch, and they popped the tire back on. They noticed my alignment problem - points for accurate diagnosis. I'll be back next time I have to buy tires. Very pleasant, quick, and gratis. The sort of service I only expect from small town places.

Thanks Damian, we will see you next time. Jason-Owner

My wife and I have now brought both of our vehicles into Colorado Tire and Service for a variety of things ranging from tires to an oil change. Paul and Lance are professional, thorough and friendly plus their work is good and their price are fair. It can be hard to find an auto repair shop that you can trust and depend on, but now that we've found Colorado Tire and Service, the search is over!

Thanks Stefan. Always nice to hear kind words about our staff.
